Job Description Lead AI Developer (with GenAI Expertise)

We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Developer with strong expertise in Generative AI (GenAI), LLMs, and conversational AI to architect and deliver next-generation AI solutions. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and optimization of AI-driven applications, ensuring scalable deployment and seamless integration across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities-

• Lead the end-to-end development of conversational AI and GenAI applications using platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI, or similar LLM frameworks .
• Architect, train, fine-tune, and deploy large language models (LLMs) and GenAI systems , including text generation, summarization, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), embeddings, and intelligent assistants.
• Integrate LLMs and GenAI-driven components with enterprise systems, web applications, APIs, and messaging platforms.
• Design and implement dialogue management and context-handling strategies for accurate intent recognition and response generation.
• Guide the team in building efficient data pipelines, vector databases, prompt workflows, and scalable model deployment solutions.
• Perform continuous evaluation, testing, and optimization of AI/LLM performance, ensuring accuracy, latency reduction, and improved user experience.
• Analyse user interactions, system outputs, and feedback to drive iterative enhancements and feature improvements.
• Stay updated with advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, multimodal AI, and NLP technologies to drive innovation and technical strategy within the team.

Technical Skills Required-

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong programming experience in Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript .
• 5+ Years of Hands-on experience with AI/ML/NLP techniques , including text analytics, sentiment analysis, entity recognition, translation, and chatbot development.
• Practical exposure to GenAI technologies , including:
• LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, embeddings
• RAG pipelines, vector stores (FAISS, Pinecone, ChromaDB, Elasticsearch)
• Model orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel)
• Strong understanding of web technologies, API development, microservices, and system integration .
• Proficiency in relational databases and SQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead complex technical initiatives.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities essential for leading cross-functional discussions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Additional Skills-

• Experience with transfer learning, deep learning algorithms, neural networks , and hybrid ML architectures.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, SDLC, and agile methodologies .
• Experience deploying AI/ML/GenAI applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud .
• Proven experience building and deploying chatbot systems using ChatGPT, GPT-4/4o, or similar GenAI frameworks .
• Experience with model monitoring, observability, and AI governance frameworks is an added advantage.
