Job Description

Asset Administration:

Coordinate with third parties to ensure warranty maintenance and replacements when applicable.

Break/Fix:

Coordinate with multiple teams & Vendors resolution of hardware-related problems.

3rd Party Contracted Services:

DC OPS analyst will be responsible for the complete set of associated works in line with Health and Safety requirements and shall liaise with appropriate teams within the customer end to this effect.

DC OPS analyst will also help with the testing as needed for all infrastructure changes by following the procedures in place, updating the relevant documentation to reflect the changes, and informing the Global Service Desk of the impact of the change.

DC OPS analyst will also be responsible for ensuring the resolution of faults during installation and commissioning and providing all necessary documentation.

DC OPS analyst will also provide an efficient service interface for the successful end delivery of the works.

DC OPS analyst will also be responsible for the Service Support functions post-installation and the Service Management aspects, e.g. Configuration and Capacity Management.

Perform hardware receiving and staging at customer locations for MACs

Coordinate onsite / dispatch technicians of customer or DC-managed staff or hardware maintenance service provider to perform hardware maintenance services as needed.

Perform user/customer notification for MAC remotely.

Perform test and cutover for MAC remotely.

DC OPS analyst will also Coordinate and manage the installation and configuration of MAC remotely.

Example: Coordinate failed Hardware replacements, Coordinate failed Hardware replacements (Open DC portal tickets), DCtrack update configuration items (add/delete/edit), coordinate circuit installations (Cross-connects, Cloud e.g., AWS, Asure, etc. Management of MMR cross-connects and carrier circuits)

Data Center Project Planning Define user requirements
Provide and Procure facility environment, space, cabling, power, cooling and including under floor cabling, fibre and dark fibre
Procure new equipment and necessary Software / Hardware upgrades
Move, Add, Changes (MAC) Validate, Plan and schedule MACs
Move, Add, Changes (MAC) Develop installation and configuration specification of new equipment that is required for MAC purposes
Move, Add, Changes (MAC) Coordinate, manage installation and configuration of MAC. These activities will be performed remotely.

Examples of such MACs, but not limited to: Coordinate failed Hardware replacements, Coordinate failed Hardware replacements (Open DC portal tickets), DCtrack update configuration items (add/delete/edit), coordinate circuit installations (Cross-connects, Cloud e.g., AWS, Asure etc. Management of MMR cross-connects and carrier circuits)

3rd Party Contracted Services Where installation / De-installation has been required and confirmed by EA, the Managed Service Partner shall be responsible for the complete set of associated works in line with Health and Safety requirement and shall liaise with appropriate teams within EA to this effect.
3rd Party Contracted Services Manage the installation / De-installation and testing as needed of all infrastructure changes in accordance with the procedures in place, updating the relevant documentations to reflect the changes, and informing Global Service desk of the impact of the change.
3rd Party Contracted Services Where works may be carried out by Third Parties appointed by the Managed Service Partner, the end-delivery of the project/task remains the responsibility of the Managed Service Partner. The Managed Service Partner shall be responsible for the resolution of faults during installation and commissioning and provide all necessary documentation.
3rd Party Contracted Services Where works may be carried out by Third Parties appointed by EA, the Managed Service Partner shall have the responsibility to provide an efficient service interface for the successful end delivery of the works. The Managed Service Partner shall remain responsible for the Service Support functions post-installation and the Service Management aspects, e.g. Configuration and Capacity Management.
