About The Role

Shift Schedule: Not applicable

The position has accountability for the management of iSeries infrastructure. This includes but not limited to Production support 24x7, Enhancement / Work Requests, Internal initiatives such as Product Lifecycle management etc. The incumbent need to collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders including Global team, Customers, Business and Applications team to ensure the stability of ANZ production environment.

As an Engineer in the Enterprise Compute Tribe, Infrastructure and Cloud Services Domain you’ll be working as part of a high performing cross-functional team that focuses on maintaining the IBM i(also known as iSeries) infrastructure which includes 24x7 Support, Automation, Audit/Compliance, Life Cycle Management etc. You will have significant hands-on engineering&bsoldevelopment experience to provide a Stable & Secure IBM i environment for customers around the world. 

About You

Essential Skills/Relevant Experiences:

• Incident/problem analysis and resolution.
• On-call support for the iSeries platform, 24 x 7, as per roster.
• Maintain iSeries Systems availability as per SLA agreements.
• Applying IBM provided PTF’s.
• iSeries system upgrades / OS Upgrades.
• Backup Recovery & Media Services.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders and IBM.
• Understanding of Disaster recovery mechanism
• Understanding of Audit, Security & Compliance activities.
• Understand ITIL/AGILE Framework.
• Contribute to an open, honest, and engaged team environment. 

Desired Skills:
