Job Description
- Should have good understanding of infrastructure management processes; good understanding of ITIL process framework.
- Provides 3rd level technical support on NAS & SAN Storage related issues.
- Installation and configuring the NetApp Clusters
- Creation of Aggregates, volumes and mapping of LUNs to Windows & UNIX hosts
- Creating the SVM’s, segregating the SVM’s between NAS and SAN storage
- Choose the right RAID level for high performance and high availability on NetApp Filers.
- Setting up CIFS Shares, NFS Mounts, Quotas, Groups and Permissions on NetApp NAS.
- Configuring and troubleshooting issues with Storage arrays (EMC ISILON/VMAX AFA/VNX/Unity AFA/Pure AFA/ECS/Celerra/Centera and SAN switches in SAN environment)
- VNX/VMAX/Pure software / hardware maintenance and firmware upgrades
- Isilon Snapshot IQ/SyncIQ setup and configuration
- Isilon NFS Creation / Quota Creation /SMB Shares Creation
