Job Title: Lead - Network Engineering

The Purpose of This Role

This role requires all round experience on IT Network Technologies (Enterprise & Datacentre Networking) for identifying the technology gaps and bringing emerging technology to the firm. The person is also responsible to provide operation & project support for Network Infrastructure at Bangalore & Chennai.

Reporting to Team Leader – Network Engineering and would be responsible for Network Operations & Projects for LAN, WAN & Wireless. Manage Heterogeneous Network Infrastructure comprise of Cisco & HP Switches, Aruba Wireless & Avaya PBX for Voice. Person requires having excellent communication skills with analytical and problem-solving skills as it’s a hands-on technical role.

Technical / Behavioral

• You need to have good hands-on experience in managing heterogeneous Network Infrastructure Design, Implementation & Support in green / brown environments. Must have moderate to in-depth knowledge of Enterprise / Datacenter Routing-Switching, Wireless Technologies (Wi-Fi 6) and Network Protocols such as BGP, OSPF, HSRP, STP, WPA2/3, SNMP and good understanding of VXLAN, DMVPN, MPLS, SD-WAN etc.

• You need to have sound hands-on experience Wireless Technology (preferably Aruba) & fair understand on network securities (Firewall, IPS, Proxy etc.), collaboration platforms & monitoring tools.

• A team player with structured approach toward problem solving, effective management & task prioritization.

• You are expected having fair knowledge on Automation / Scripting technologies.

• Clear understanding of Agile & ITIL processes and Good Vendor management skills.

FITG (FMR India Technology Group) is responsible for managing IT projects including technology rollouts, new office fit-outs and partnering with global IT teams to meet IT requirements of Fidelity India business units. The functions in FITG include Network services, End user computing, IT asset management, hosting services, service delivery, IT risk management

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• 6+ years in IT/ITES

• Graduate / Maters in Computers or Electronics

• Technical certification: CCNP / CCDP

• Process Certification: ITIL, ISO 20K.

• Candidate having certification like Cisco CCIE, Aruba ACM, PMP will have added advantage.

Location:             Chennai

Shift timings:     8:30am – 5:30 pm or 11:00am - 8:00pm or 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm, 24x7 on-call Support on

rotation
