Responsibilities

To provide expert technical consultancy for the design, estimation, and execution of public gardens and urban green spaces. This role bridges the gap between Architectural Vision and Horticultural Reality, ensuring high survival rates for plantations and cost-effective maintenance for the Government Department.

Qualifications

Landscape Design & DPR: Prepare conceptual and detailed landscape layouts, including softscape (planting) and hardscape (pavements, gazebos, lighting).

Species Selection: Create a specialized planting palette focusing on indigenous, low-maintenance, and drought-resistant species suitable for Gujarat's climate.

Soil & Irrigation Planning: Evaluate soil quality and design efficient irrigation systems (drip/sprinkler) to minimize water wastage.

BoQ Preparation: Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for plants, fertilizers, and landscaping materials for government tenders.

PMC Supervision: Visit garden sites to verify the quality of nursery stock, supervise planting techniques, and ensure the landscape contractor adheres to the design.
