Job Description

Perform high-precision hand soldering and rework on various IC packages:

SMD (0402/0201), DIP, SOT, QFP, TQFP, QFN, SOIC, and fine-pitch ICs

Rework, replace, or reball advanced IC packages under microscope or hot-air rework station.

Operate soldering/rework tools including hot air guns, soldering irons, and microscopes.

Perform visual inspection to ensure IPC Class 2/3 standards and strong mechanical/electrical connections.

Support test and bring-up activities in collaboration with design and validation engineers.

Maintain ESD-safe working conditions and handle sensitive components with care.

Document work, rework logs, and report issues with build quality or assembly steps.

Support lab activities including cable assembly, test jig setup, and component inventory.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma/B. Tech in Electronics or equivalent hands-on training.

Minimum 35 years of experience in professional soldering and PCB assembly.

Proven skill in soldering fine-pitch, bottom-terminated, and multi-lead ICs.

Familiar with soldering quality standards and ESD protocols.

Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, BOMs, and layout prints.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in BGA,LGA reballing and rework.

Basic understanding of PCB troubleshooting and testing.

Comfortable with lab tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.

Operate soldering/rework tools including hot air guns, IR rework stations, soldering irons, and microscopes.
