Job Description

L2 Operational Role Focus (Focus: Monitoring and First Response)

Subject: L2 Databricks Application Support: 247 Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Content: We are recruiting L2 Application Support Engineers (25+ years experience ) for 247 rotational support. This role is the frontline of our Databricks operations.

Key Operational Duties:

Perform 247 monitoring of Databricks clusters, jobs, workflows, repos, and data pipelines.

Alert Monitoring and first level of resolution.

First Level issue troubleshooting/analysis related to Cluster failures and Job failures.

Debug Databricks notebook failures and job errors (Spark, SQL, Delta Lake).

Rerun/retrigger failed jobs as per SOP.

Handle workspace/user access requests as per RBAC policies.

Technical Requirement: Hands-on knowledge of Databricks platform , Spark UI & job debugging , and UNIX/SQL/Shell Scripting.
