About Position:


Skilled and experienced L2 Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing microservices to support our innovative and complex business solutions. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, architects, and product owners to develop high-quality software and applications. Your role will involve creating clean, efficient, and testable code, as well as identifying, prioritizing, and executing tasks in the software development life cycle.

What You'll Do:


  • Provide L2 production support for enterprise applications in a 247 environment.
  • Monitor application health using observability tools (logs, metrics, alerts).
  • Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing logs, system behavior, and metrics.
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within defined SLAs.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive corrective actions.
  • Participate in oncall rotations and major incident bridges.
  • Support applications running on .NET and Java technology stacks.
  • Work with Azure Application Insights and cloud monitoring solutions.
  • Provide operational support for applications hosted on AWS and/or Azure.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation and diagnostics.
  • Collaborate closely with L3 / Engineering teams for issue fixes and enhancements.
  • Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documents to ensure knowledge continuity.
  • Communicate effectively with customer stakeholders during live incidents.


Expertise You'll Bring:


  • Hands-on experience in L2 Application / Production Support.
  • Strong experience with:
  • Production monitoring & alerting
  • Log analysis & incident troubleshooting
  • Incident and problem management
  • Experience with Azure Application Insights or similar observability platforms.
  • Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
  • Ability to write, debug, and maintain Python scripts.
  • Experience supporting .NET and Java applications in production.
  • Strong analytical and scenario-based problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in a 247 rotational shift model from customer location.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and enterprise-grade backend development.
  • Proficiency in React (with TypeScript) or Angular 10+.
  • Experience in designing and building REST APIs and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end build processes.
  • Experience with API documentation and testing tools (Swagger / Postman preferred).
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor for productivity.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Maven.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Jasmine).
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • A bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
