Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented L1 Network Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in network configuration, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of core networking concepts including routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. Exposure to SD-WAN technologies will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic network configuration and device provisioning (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of network services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 network issues, escalating complex problems when required.
• Support and maintain routing protocols such as BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First).
• Assist in configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SD-WAN environments.
• Perform routine health checks, maintenance, and documentation updates.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for incident resolution and service requests.
• Maintain adherence to SLAs and operational processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 13 years of experience in network support or operations (L1 level).
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with network device configuration.
• Strong understanding of:
• TCP/IP, VLANs, Subnetting
• Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of SD-WAN concepts (Viptela, Meraki, or similar is a plus).
• Familiarity with Cisco networking devices preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Working Conditions:

• Work Mode: Onsite Mumbai
• Work Days: Monday to Saturday (Sunday off)
• Shifts:
• 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• 2:00 PM 9:00 PM
