Role Name: Junior Kubernetes Engineer
Desired Experience Range: 4 years to 8 Years
Location of Requirement: Hyderabad
Tech Profile/Essential Skills
• Kubernetes Operations:
• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitor cluster health and performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline cluster management tasks.
• Container Management:
• Work with Docker and other containerisation technologies to package, distribute, and run applications.
• Develop and maintain Dockerfiles and container images for various applications.
• Ensure container security best practices are implemented and maintained.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
• Collaborate with the team to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Linux System Administration:
• Assist in the administration of Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues and implement solutions to optimize performance.
• Scripting and Automation:
• Develop scripts and automation workflows using Python or other scripting languages to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators, to support their needs.
• Document processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Essential skills and Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of Linux systems administration and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with containerisation concepts and technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code principles and tools (Terraform, Flux, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platforms.
