What We'll Bring:
Platform Architecture & DesignArchitect and design enterprise‑grade container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes, OpenShift, or cloud-managed services (AKS/EKS/GKE).
Develop reference architectures, deployment blueprints, and standards for microservices, containers, and platform operations.
Lead modernization initiatives including migration of legacy applications to containerized environments.
Infrastructure & Automation
Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines integrating container build, test, security scanning, and deployment workflows.
Define infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards using Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or similar tools.
Develop strategies for cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, scaling, and resource optimization.
Security, Governance, and Compliance
Define security controls for containerized workloads including runtime security, network policies, RBAC, secrets management, and image governance.
Implement compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks for Kubernetes).
Partner with InfoSec teams to drive secure-by-design practices.
Reliability & Observability
Develop SRE-aligned architectures focusing on availability, performance, and self‑healing.
Define logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting standards using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog.
Establish DR, backup, and multi-cluster disaster recovery strategies.
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
Provide architectural guidance to development teams adopting container-native patterns.
Conduct technical reviews, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing workshops.
Evaluate new technologies from CNCF landscape and recommend adoption strategies.
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in IT with 4+ years in Kubernetes/container platform architecture.
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes internals, control plane, networking, ingress, storage, and service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with IaC (Terraform, Helm, Kustomize), CI/CD tools, and GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices patterns, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with container security tools (Aqua, Prisma, Anchore, Trivy).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: CKA, CKAD, CKS, Red Hat OpenShift Architect, Azure/AWS/GCP Architect.
- Experience with hybrid cloud/on‑prem orchestration (OpenShift, Rancher, VMware Tanzu).
- Knowledge of cost optimization and FinOps for container platforms.
- Experience designing high‑throughput, mission-critical enterprise systems.
