Knowledge Engineer

About the Company

We are seeking a Knowledge Engineer to design and build the knowledge layer of our AI framework. This role is responsible for how knowledge is modelled, stored, retrieved, enriched, and reasoned overenabling agents to ground their decisions in trusted, contextual, and explainable information.

About the Role

Knowledge Engineer RAG & Knowledge Graphs

Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune

Experience: 612+ years overall experience, with deep specialization in knowledge systems and AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RAG pipelines for agent workflows
• Define chunking, embedding, indexing, and retrieval strategies optimized for agent reasoning
• Tune retrieval for precision, recall, latency, and cost
• Design and implement knowledge graphs (KGs) representing enterprise domains
• Define entities, relationships, attributes, and constraints
• Design, implement and govern ontologies and taxonomies aligned with business domains
• Enable graph-based reasoning and traversal for agent use cases

Qualifications

• Strong experience with knowledge graphs, semantic models, and ontologies
• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures and retrieval optimization
• Experience with vector databases and search platforms like FAISS, Pinecone or Weavaite
• Familiarity with graph databases and query languages (e.g., SPARQL, Cypher)
• Strong programming skills (Python or equivalent)
• Experience building scalable data pipelines
• Experience with OWL, RDF, SHACL, or semantic web standards
