Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and frostings
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
- Monitor baking process to ensure proper timing and temperature
- Decorate baked goods as required
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Manage inventory and report low supplies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Understanding of food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management skills
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management
- Culinary or baking certification (a plus)
- Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food production environment preferred.
