Key Accounts Business Manager Medical Devices & Consumables

Location: Kolkata, India

Company: Nipro Medical India (Global Medical Device Manufacturer)

If so, Nipro Medical India invites you to join our team as a Key Accounts Business Manager based in Kolkata. The product portfolio includes Dialysis Machines, Dialyzers, Renal Digitalization Drug Delivery Systems, Interventional Imaging Products, and Hospital Consumables.


Role Overview

The Key Accounts Business Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with hospitals, medical institutions, and distributors across Kolkata. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding product adoption, and building strategic partnerships with key healthcare stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales revenue targets and KPIs for assigned accounts and product divisions.
  • Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations, and clinical discussions with key stakeholders.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within hospital accounts.
  • Lead negotiations and close business agreements in line with company policies.
  • Engage with clinicians and hospital management to understand existing and unmet clinical needs.
  • Maintain continuous engagement to support product adoption and business growth.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong relationship management and customer engagement skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of medical device sales processes and hospital procurement systems.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in medical devices.
  • Minimum 3 years in the current organization preferred.
  • Experience in hospital product sales and institutional business will be an advantage.
  • Graduate in Science or Technology discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Business / Management (MBA preferred).


Additional Requirements

  • Strong interest in medical technology and clinical applications.
  • Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with hospital procurement processes, d contract management.
  • Strong negotiation skills
