About the Role

We are looking for a high-ownership Key Account Manager to expand and strengthen venue partnerships in Bangalore.

This role is responsible for:

  • Sourcing and closing new premium venue partnerships


  • Pitching Meragi to venue owners


  • Negotiating commercial terms


  • Driving relationship depth and revenue growth from existing venues


This is not a passive relationship role. This is a hunter + builder + operator role.


Key Responsibilities


1 Venue Sourcing & Market Expansion
  • Identify high-potential wedding venues across Bangalore


  • Build relationships with venue owners, general managers, and decision-makers


  • Maintain a structured pipeline of 3040 active prospects


  • Drive end-to-end closure of venue partnerships



2 Pitching & Commercial Negotiation


  • Present the value proposition
  • Customize proposals based on venue size and positioning
  • Negotiate commission structures and commercial agreements
  • Ensure strong ROI alignment for venue partners

Outcome: Close high-quality venues with sustainable unit economics


3 Relationship Management & Revenue Growth
  • Act as the single point of contact for venues
  • Drive monthly review meetings with venue partners
  • Identify growth levers
  • Ensure venue-level booking targets


Outcome: Improve venue satisfaction and increase revenue per venue

4 On-Ground Ownership
  • Regular venue visits
  • Solve escalations quickly


Who Were Looking For


Must-Have:
  • 26 years experience in BD / Key Accounts / Venue Sales / Hospitality Partnerships
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Comfort working with venue owners and senior stakeholders
  • High ownership mindset
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and build processes from scratch


Good to Have:
  • Experience in weddings, hospitality, or event industry
  • Existing network in Bangalore venue ecosystem
