About the Role
Nipro Medical India Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Accounts Manager to lead strategic relationships with major healthcare institutions and distributors. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in medical devices and hospital consumables sales, along with a proven ability to manage high-value accounts, drive revenue growth, and build long-term partnerships within the healthcare ecosystem.
This role is based in Bangalore and will involve travel across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with key hospital chains, corporate hospitals, and institutional buyers
- Drive sales of medical devices and consumables through strategic account planning
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new product introductions
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and tender submissions
- Work closely with procurement heads, clinicians, biomedical teams, and hospital administrators
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, regulatory, service) to ensure seamless execution
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to strengthen positioning
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate records using CRM tools and submit regular performance reports
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 58 years of experience in medical devices or healthcare consumables sales
- Proven track record of managing large hospital or institutional accounts
- Strong understanding of hospital purchase processes and government/private tenders
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively
Preferred Skills
- Experience with hemodialysis critical care, surgical, diagnostic, or infection control product lines
- Established network with hospital procurement and clinical stakeholders
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the medical device sector
