Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Account Leadership: Take end-to-end ownership of primary and secondary sales targets for Metro Wholesale, Flipkart Wholesale, Spar, Lifestyle and emerging Regional chains.
  • Strategic Negotiation: Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Joint Business Plan (JBP), and Terms of Trade (TOT) negotiations with Head Office buyers to secure favorable margins and maximum visibility.
  • Relationship Building: Develop deep, multi-tiered relationships across the partner organizations, from category managers to supply chain teams.
  • Business Expansion: Actively identify, approach, and onboard new regional modern trade chains in the South market to increase market share.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive the execution of agreed business plans, closely monitoring PO Fill Rates (POFR), managing inventory health, and reducing Out-Of-Stock (OOS) scenarios.

Reporting and Analysis-

  • Regularly monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze sales trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.


Candidate Profile & Key Competencies

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Key Account Management within Consumer Durables, Homeware or travel accessories industry.
  • The "Ownership" Mindset: Demonstrated ability to treat their portfolio like their own business, taking strict accountability for both successes and operational roadblocks.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong track record of successfully negotiating complex TOTs and JBPs with large wholesale or retail chains.
