Key Account Manager- (Hospital Retail) is a pivotal role responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with key customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving business growth. This position involves strategic planning, effective communication, and collaboration with internal teams to meet and exceed customer expectations. The Key Account Manager will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and overall account expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Regularly conduct client meetings to understand their business objectives and challenges.
Strategic Account Planning:
- Collaborate with clients to create strategic account plans, aligning with their goals and objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities within key accounts and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Work closely with internal teams to execute account plans effectively.
Communication and Coordination:
- Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products/services and address any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Revenue Generation:
- Meet and exceed revenue targets for assigned key accounts.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
Market and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market knowledge.
Customer Satisfaction and Retention:
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and take proactive measures to address any issues.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on key account performance : Product, Cluster, Store level to present findings and implement actionable.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
Requirement:
- Graduate(MBA) from a recognized institute with 8+ years of experience in managing national key accounts
- Capacity to think strategically, identify client needs, and align offerings with business trends is highly valued.
- Strong relationship-building skills are necessary to connect with a variety of stakeholders, including external clients and internal teams.
- The ability to analyze data, prepare working plans, and track performance
