About the Role
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing strategic OEM relationships in the Electric Vehicle (EV) 2-Wheeler and 3-Wheeler segment, driving business growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and acting as the key interface between customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
Key Account Management
- Manage and strengthen relationships with EV OEM customers (2W / 3W)
- Act as the single point of contact for all commercial and coordination activities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention
Business Development
- Identify and drive new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
- Support RFQs, quotations, pricing strategies, and negotiations
- Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
- Ensure smooth project execution, SOP launches, and issue resolution
- Track timelines, deliverables, and customer commitments
Market & Strategy
- Monitor EV market trends, competitor activities, and customer expectations
- Provide inputs for product strategy and customer roadmap
- Support long-term strategic account planning
Qualifications
- 815 years of experience in Automotive Key Account Management
- Mandatory experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) domain
- Exposure to 2-Wheeler and/or 3-Wheeler OEMs
- Experience working with automotive components / Tier-1 or Tier-2 suppliers
Required Skills
- Strong customer handling and negotiation skills/systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Commercial acumen and understanding of pricing & contracts
- Ability to work in a matrix, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as per business needs
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Electric Vehicle (EV) domain
- Exposure to 2-Wheeler and/or 3-Wheeler OEMs
