Kentico Developer

• Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kentico Developer to join our team. As a Kentico Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Kentico-based websites and web applications. Your expertise in Kentico CMS and development best practices will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience working with Kentico CMS and a strong background in web development.

• Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions within the Kentico CMS platform.

Design and develop scalable and high-performance websites and web applications using Kentico CMS and related technologies.

Customize and extend the functionality of Kentico CMS through module development, custom coding, and integration with third-party systems.

Ensure the codebase follows best practices, is maintainable, and meets performance and security standards.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to development guidelines.

Optimize website performance, including page load times, caching, and database queries. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Kentico CMS and web development, and proactively apply this knowledge to improve our development processes and deliverables.

• Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

6-7 years of professional experience in web development, with a strong focus on Kentico CMS.

Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC , .Net Core and SQL Server.

Extensive experience with Kentico CMS, including building custom modules, creating page templates, and configuring workflows.

Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Solid understanding of software development best practices, including testing methodologies, code reviews, and documentation.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Preferred Skills:

Kentico Developer Certification with knowledge of latest version (Kentico 13) Experience with other content management systems such as Sitecore or Episerver. Knowledge of MVC and other web frameworks.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Experience with integrating Kentico CMS with e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, or other third-party applications.
