Karate Instructor

Salary: 20,000 30,000 per month

ARCA Global School is looking for a passionate and disciplined Karate Instructor to train and mentor students across age groups. The role focuses on developing physical fitness, self-defence skills, confidence, and character through structured martial arts education in a safe and motivating environment.

Instruction & Training

• Plan and conduct karate classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels (beginner to advanced).
• Deliver engaging lessons covering techniques, forms (kata), sparring (kumite), and martial arts philosophy.

Student Development

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback and encouragement.
• Prepare students for belt grading examinations and participation in local, district, and national-level competitions.

Safety & Learning Environment

• Ensure a safe, disciplined, and positive training environment at all times.
• Uphold best practices related to student safety, physical well-being, and class management.

Curriculum & Collaboration

• Coordinate with school leadership and staff to align martial arts training with the schools holistic education goals.
• Support the development and enhancement of the schools martial arts curriculum when required.

Administration & Communication

• Maintain accurate student records and manage class schedules.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and school staff regarding student progress and activities.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum First (Sho) Dan Black Belt or equivalent certification in a recognized karate style (e.g., Shotokan, Goju-ryu).

Experience

• Prior teaching or coaching experience, preferably with school-aged children or in an academy/school environment.
