Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Kafka Developer to design, develop, and maintain real-time data streaming solutions. The candidate will work on building scalable and reliable messaging systems using Apache Kafka for BFSI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kafka-based messaging solutions for real-time data streaming.
• Develop and maintain Kafka producers, consumers, and topics.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of Kafka clusters.
• Collaborate with application teams to integrate Kafka with microservices and data pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize Kafka performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement security and compliance standards for data streaming.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Apache Kafka development and administration.
• Knowledge of Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and Schema Registry.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for developing Kafka clients.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, message queues, and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.

Good to Have

• Experience with Confluent Kafka platform.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
