Roles and Responsibilities of a Video Editor @ Zoo Media :

Understand the client requirements and complete end-to-end execution of the project.
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Be a part of brainstorming and ideation sessions with the Video Producers and Creative teams.
Coordinate with the necessary internal teams (Account Management and Creative) before finalizing the edits.
Work on the Post-Production part of the project. Work with the Video Producers, Video Animators and Creative teams closely..
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industrys best practices to maximize efficiency.
