About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our content team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of editing basics, a good eye for storytelling, and the ability to work with short-form and long-form content. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, experiment, and grow in a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, campaigns, and brand projects.
• Assist senior editors in assembling raw footage, selecting clips, and sequencing videos.
• Add music, transitions, captions, and basic motion graphics as required.
• Ensure brand consistency and creative quality across all video deliverables.
• Work closely with the content, design, and creative teams to understand project requirements.
• Manage and organize video assets, project files, and backups.
• Stay updated with current editing trends, platform formats, and popular content styles.

Skills & Requirements

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve.
• Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of color correction, sound editing, and basic animation is a plus.
• A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous editing work (mandatory).

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Film, Media, Communication, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
• 1 to 2 years of experience in video editing (internships/freelance work counted).
