About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer (Associate Level) to join a growing technology team and play a key role in building data systems that power core operations and accounting functions. This individual will work closely with business partners to design and deliver warehousing systems, data management solutions, and integrations critical to the firms success.

Responsibilities

• Engineering: Design, code, test, and deploy enterprise software and scripts to support operations, product control, and accounting.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the business and development teams to understand data and processes.
• System Design: Partner with financial professionals on creating flexible systems that are both stable and provide transparency of business logic.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical roles in financial services.

Required Skills

• Key Technical Requirement: Must have experience with Oracle General Ledger (GL) and Subledger Accounting.
• Database Skills: Expert in relational data and relational databases.
• Programming: Professional experience in object-oriented programming.
• Technical: Understanding of REST APIs and software design principles.
• Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with fixed income, mortgage finance, or credit markets.
• Excel power user.
