Junior Rebar Detailer (US Projects)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Rebar Detailer at Studio Emerge. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate rebar shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and coordination details for US construction projects. The role involves collaborating with contractors, and the detailing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed rebar shop drawings based on structural and architectural plans
• Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and material take-offs for procurement and fabrication
• Ensure compliance with ACI, and project-specific detailing standards
• Identify and resolve conflicts related to reinforcement placement and constructability
• Review and interpret RFIs, submittals, and revisions to update drawings as required
• Work within tight deadlines independently while ensuring accuracy and quality
• Good communication skills with strong attention to detail

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Diploma, Bachelors, or Masters degree in Civil Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in rebar detailing, specifically for US projects
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, RebarCAD and/or CADS RC.
