Job Description

Role Overview


At Dameasy, we are building a dynamic and execution-focused R&D function to support a growing portfolio of food and beverage products. We are looking for a Junior R&D Executive who will contribute to the development and commercialization of products across categories such as sauces, condiments, jams, syrups, non-carbonated beverages, as well as other emerging and custom-developed product lines.

This role is designed for individuals who are keen to work across both product development and manufacturing environments, with exposure to the end-to-end lifecyclefrom concept and formulation through to pilot trials, scale-up, and commercial production.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the development, refinement, and standardization of formulations across a diverse range of food and beverage products, in line with internal briefs and external requirements
  • Plan and execute laboratory trials, pilot-scale batches, and factory trials, ensuring accurate documentation and reproducibility of results
  • Assist in the scale-up of formulations from bench level to commercial production, including active participation on the production floor during initial manufacturing runs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate R&D outputs into manufacturable processes, addressing practical considerations such as process parameters, equipment compatibility, and throughput efficiency
  • Identify, analyze, and help resolve technical challenges related to product quality, including but not limited to flavor profile, texture, stability, and processing behavior
  • Maintain comprehensive and structured R&D documentation, including formulation records, batch sheets, trial reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Support shelf-life studies, stability assessments, and validation activities in coordination with Quality and related functions
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to support cost optimization, ingredient selection, and sourcing feasibility during development and scale-up
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, product enhancement, and exploration of new ingredients, formats, and technologies
  • Stay informed on industry trends, ingredient innovations, and evolving consumer preferences, and contribute to ideation and exploratory development work as required


Requirements


  • Degree in Food Technology / Food Science or a related discipline
  • 02 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong practical exposure may be considered)
  • Foundational understanding of food processing principles and product development workflows
  • Willingness to work across R&D and production environments, including time on the shop floor
  • Strong attention to detail, structured approach to documentation, and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving setup
