Job Description
Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation is looking for Junior Project Manager (Business Projects)
Job Description / Responsibility
Project Planning & Delivery:
- Define scope, objectives, success metrics (KPIs), timelines, and budgets.
- Build project plans (work breakdown, milestones, RACI, dependencies).
- Run project ceremonies: kickoffs, weekly check-ins, steering updates, retros.
- Track progress, manage change requests, and keep stakeholders aligned.
Stakeholder & Communication Management:
- Align business, finance, operations, tech, and external vendors.
- Produce crisp updates: status, risks, decisions needed, next steps.
- Facilitate decision-making and escalate issues early with options.
Process Improvement & Execution:
- Map as-is processes and design to-be workflows.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement fixes (SOPs, training, tooling, checklists).
- Ensure adoption via change management, documentation, and handover.
Risk, Quality & Governance
- Maintain a risk/issue log; manage mitigation plans.
- Set quality gates and acceptance criteria; validate outcomes.
- Ensure compliance needs are addressed (data privacy, audit trails, approvals).
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Build simple dashboards (Excel/Sheets/BI) to track delivery and KPIs.
- Conduct post-project reviews: benefits realized vs planned.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
- Bachelors degree in Business/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Skills Required: Change Management, strategic thinking and planning skills, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, data-driven tools
Experience Requirements
- At least 1 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company,NGO,Development Agency,Hospital,Research Organization,Diagnostic Centre
Additional Requirements
- 1+ years in project management (business/operations /process projects).
- Strong planning, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid Excel/Google Sheets, reporting, and KPI tracking.
- Comfortable with ambiguity; can structure messy problems fast.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile/Scrum certification.
- Experience with ERP/CRM (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Salesforce, HubSpot) rollouts.
- Process improvement exposure (Lean/Six Sigma).
- Experience in healthcare/nonprofit/services industries (if relevant).
Tools (Nice to Have):
- Jira / Asana / Trello / ClickUp / Notion
- Miro / Lucidchart
- PowerPoint/Slides + basic BI (Looker Studio/Power BI)
- Microsoft Project (MS Project) for scheduling, dependencies, critical path, and baseline tracking
