Junior PHP Developer

About the Role We are hiring a PHP Developer to join our technology team at a leading healthcare brand. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using PHP and modern frameworks, along with strong database and frontend fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel or similar frameworks

Work with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL for efficient data handling

Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate UI components using Bootstrap, CSS, and JavaScript Write clean, secure, and scalable code following best practices

Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance

Work closely with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time

Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance standards relevant to healthcare systems Required Skills & Qualifications

23 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer

Strong proficiency in PHP and frameworks like Laravel (or similar)

Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases

Good understanding of frontend technologies: Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript

Familiarity with MVC architecture and RESTful APIs

Basic understanding of version control systems (Git preferred)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills Good to Have

Experience working on healthcare or data-sensitive applications

Knowledge of basic server deployment and hosting environments

Exposure to performance optimization and security best practices
