Role Description

As a Junior Moderator Specialist,youllbe the guardian of our community standards and content quality.Youllreview listings, media, and user interactions to ensure they align with our guidelines.Youllalso help shape our moderation policies and escalate issues that require deeper investigation or policy updates.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve or reject user-submitted listings, images, bios, and comments based on platform guidelines
• Monitor user activity for spam,scams, inappropriate content, or policy violations
• Flag and escalate high-risk or repeat violations to leadership or technical teams
• Collaborate with the customer support team to resolve user-reported issues
• Help refine and update moderation policies and workflows as the platform evolves
• Maintain a consistent tone and approach that reflectsXO Bestiesvalues of inclusivity, creativity, and community
• Track moderation trends and provide feedback to improve platform safety and user experience

Requirements

• 0-1years of experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or communitymanagement
• Strong attention to detailsand ability to make fair, consistent decisions
• Familiarity with digital marketplaces, creator platforms, or e-commerce environments
• Excellent written communication skills
• Comfortableusing moderation tools, CMS platforms, and basic analytics dashboards
• Knowledge of American English and slangs
• Empathy, discretion, anda strong senseof digital responsibility
