Junior Manual QA Tester (1–2 Years Experience)

About the Role

Were looking for aJunior Manual QA Tester who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Youll work closely with developers and product managers to help ensure the quality of ourcorporate-grade web and mobile applications . This role is ideal for someone early in their QA career who wants hands-on exposure in afast-moving startup environment .

Key Responsibilities:

Understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with guidance from senior team members.

Executemanual test cases for web and mobile applications.

Performfunctional, smoke, and regression testing .

Help withexploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.

Identify, log, and track defects clearly using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Re-test fixes and support release validation activities.

• Assist in maintainingtest cases and test documentation .
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
• Collaborate with developers and QA team members to improve product quality.
• Learn and follow QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

12 years of experience inmanual software testing (internships or project experience considered).

Basic experience testingweb applications ; mobile app testing experience is a plus.

Understanding ofsoftware testing fundamentals (test cases, test scenarios, defect lifecycle).

Familiarity withAgile/Scrum development processes.

Experience usingbug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Basic knowledge ofAPI testing using tools like Postman (manual execution).

• Exposure to applications built usingmodern frameworks (Flutter, Django, or similar is a plus).
• Basic understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing.

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

Experience testingmobile apps (Android/iOS).

Basic knowledge ofSQL for simple data validation.

Awareness ofsecurity, performance, and usability testing concepts.

Interest in learningtest automation in the future.

• Experience working in astartup or fast-paced environment .
