Junior Interior Designer

We are hiring an Interior Designer to work on hospitality-focused villa refurbishment projects.

The role involves upgrading villas for short-term rental platforms with a strong focus on durability, guest experience, and fast execution.

This position does not involve end-client handling.

Role Overview

• Design and execute villa refurbishment interiors for hospitality rental use
• Prepare villas for short-term rental readiness and listing
• Work closely with internal projects, operations, and procurement teams
• Translate concepts into practical, execution-ready designs

Key Responsibilities

• Develop standardized hospitality design concepts for villa rentals
• Prepare mood boards along with detailed working drawings
• (layouts, furniture, lighting, joinery, and basic detailing)
• Plan refurbishments around existing structures with minimal civil changes
• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and contractors for execution
• Select hospitality-grade materials, furniture, and finishes
• Ensure durability, ease of maintenance, and visual appeal
• Support BOQs, cost control, and fast-track project timelines
• Be involved in on-ground execution, including:
• Supervising basic site activities
• Supporting minor ground work and light labour coordination if required
• Prepare villas for photoshoots and short-term rental platform listing readiness

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture / Hospitality Design
• 13 years experience in hospitality, serviced apartments, resorts, or villa interiors
• Strong experience in refurbishment / renovation projects
• Comfortable working in live sites and operational properties

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of hospitality materials & finishes
• Ability to produce clear drawings alongside mood boards for execution
• Experience working with vendors, contractors, and site teams
• Willingness to handle on-ground coordination and basic site work when needed
• Ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously
• Practical, execution-driven mindset (not purely design-focused)
