Junior Interior Designer

Bombay Design Lab is hiring in Mumbai. Junior Designer. Furniture first, with an interiors foundation.

This role is for someone who wants to build real pieces and develop a strong design language, while also understanding how furniture lives inside a space. If you know someone who is furniture obsessed but can still read a plan, please tag them or share this post.

What you will work on:

• furniture design development from concept to production ready detailing
• technical drawings, proportions, joinery logic, and finish callouts
• material research, sampling, prototyping support
• coordination with workshops and vendors
• interiors support if required: layouts, elevations, and site coordination

You should have:

• good taste
• strong eye for form, proportion, and details
• AutoCAD is a must
• Rhino or any equivalent 3D modelling and rendering software
• basic understanding of furniture construction and upholstery
• interiors education or hands on experience
