We are building the next generation of our ecommerce experience a custom Hydrogen-based headless Shopify storefront deployed on Oxygen , designed for speed, performance, and world-class user experience.

About the Role

Abelini Jewellery is reimagining its ecommerce experience with a headless Shopify storefront built using Hydrogen (React) and deployed on Oxygen (Shopifys edge hosting platform) .

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer who can contribute to building elegant, performant, and high-quality web experiences. Youll collaborate closely with senior developers, designers, and backend engineers to create dynamic, customer-facing components.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Build reusable, responsive components using React (Hydrogen framework) .
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready UIs.
• Implement product pages, filters, collections, and checkout flows.
• Integrate with Shopify Storefront & Customer APIs .

Process & Collaboration

• Participate in Agile sprints planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and pull requests.
• Collaborate with designers and QA to ensure accuracy and performance.

Deployment & Testing

• Assist in deploying builds to Oxygen and validating deployments.
• Debug and fix cross-browser, responsiveness, and performance issues.
• Write basic unit or integration tests for new components.

Required Skills

• 13 years of experience with React.js and frontend development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) , HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Understanding of state management (Context API, Redux, Zustand).
• Familiarity with REST / GraphQL APIs .
• Basic knowledge of version control (Git ).

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Exposure to Shopify Hydrogen / Oxygen .
• Experience with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS .
• Understanding of SEO and performance metrics.
• Awareness of edge runtimes and server-side rendering.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 13 years of experience in React-based web development.
