Role Description
We are looking for a driven and resilient Human Resources Specialist with around 2 years of experience who can independently handle end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, policy compliance, employee relations, grievance handling, and HR administration. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, communicates confidently, and delivers results with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle recruitment from job posting and sourcing to screening, scheduling, conducting interviews, and facilitating offers and onboarding.
- Use multiple sourcing channels including job portals, LinkedIn, social media and referrals to build a quality candidate pipeline.
- Maintain applicant tracking, candidate communication logs and ensure timely responses to all stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with internal hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver hiring targets on time.
- Coordinate seamless onboarding activities, documentation, orientation and induction for new hires.
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, attendance, leave and exit documentation.
- Support payroll data coordination and attendance tracking to ensure timely and error-free payroll processes.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, concerns, complaints and conflicts.
- Conduct fair and confidential grievance investigations and work with leadership to resolve issues effectively.
- Promote positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure HR policies and practices are consistently implemented and compliant with statutory labour laws.
- Draft and update HR documents, offer letters, contracts, policy acknowledgments and compliance checklists.
- Coordinate with external consultants as needed for compliance and legal documentation.
- Assist in coordinating performance review cycles, documentation, reminders and feedback processes.
- Support managers and employees in understanding performance evaluation procedures.
- Maintain HRIS / HR database with accuracy.
- Generate HR reports, recruitment metrics, turnover analysis and employee data as required.
- Track HR KPIs such as time-to-hire, attrition rates, onboarding efficiency and grievances closed.
- Support internal initiatives such as team events, engagement surveys, employee communication and follow-ups.
- Assist in basic training coordination when required.
- Experience: ~2 years in HR, preferably handling recruitment, operations and employee relations.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving mindset and resilience under pressure.
- Competencies: Ability to multitask, handle confidential matters, work independently, and meet high expectations consistently.
- Education: Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
- Tools: Comfortable with HRMS, applicant tracking systems, MS Office and HR reporting tools.
- Attitude: Proactive, detail-oriented, professional presence, and good judgment in people matters.
This position involves managing high-velocity hiring cycles, handling sensitive employee issues, and driving HR processes without stepping on toes often under tight deadlines. It requires someone who is organized, resilient, confident on calls/interviews, and able to make HR decisions independently.
