Job Description:

We are looking for Junior Data Scientists who are passionate about mathematics, data science, and Python programming. You will work alongside subject matter experts to create innovative, impactful solutions and contribute to the development of data-driven applications. Candidates with knowledge of data analytics, AI/ML methods, and tools will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop solutions in core subjects such as linear algebra, statistics, and probability.
• Design and implement solutions for data science and machine learning problems, Python language and toolboxes.
• Qualifications:
• B.Tech, Dual Degree, M.Tech, or Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or Data Science from a reputed institution, with a minimum CGPA of 7.5.
• Minimum 1+ years of industry or research experience in data science and machine learning.

Required Skills:

• Strong foundation in statistics, linear algebra, probability, and basic ML algorithms, with excellent analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Python; experience with IDEs such as PyCharm or VS Code.
• Hands-on SQL with MySQL and PostgreSQL. Familiarity with Git and GitHub;
• LLM/GenAI fundamentals: prompting; embeddings/tokenization; using APIs/libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenAI); basics of RAG and evaluation.
• AI algorithms & foundations beyond the basics: regularization, ensembles, search/optimization heuristics.
• Reinforcement learning basics: MDPs, bandits, policy/value methods; exposure to Gym or RLlib is a plus.
• Deployment exposure: simple services/apps with FastAPI/Flask or Streamlit; packaging and virtual environments.
• Big data & systems: willingness to explore front-end/back-end concepts and big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Kafka); containers/cloud familiarity (Docker; AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management; able to work independently and within teams.
