We are looking for a Merchandiser to manage vendor coordination, inventory flow, warehouse alignment, and retail order execution.

Role Overview:

You will act as the operational bridge between vendors, warehouse, and internal teams, ensuring timely production, structured inventory management, and smooth order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor & Product Coordination:

• Act as primary point of contact for manufacturing partners
• Track product development timelines and sampling cycles
• Ensure alignment between approved samples and bulk production
• Maintain structured documentation for product specifications
• Proactively follow up on production schedules and flag delays

Production & Delivery Timeline Management

• Monitor end-to-end production milestones
• Coordinate dispatch schedules with vendors
• Ensure timely delivery of finished goods to warehouse
• Track shipment status and resolve logistical issues where necessary

Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate inbound deliveries at warehouse
• Verify quantities against purchase orders
• Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) documentation
• Align with warehouse team on storage planning and batch tracking
• Monitor damage or discrepancy reports

Inventory Management

• Maintain structured inventory trackers
• Monitor stock levels across SKUs
• Track slow-moving and fast-moving items
• Support replenishment planning discussions
• Maintain real-time visibility of stock availability

Order Processing (Brand Website)

• Coordinate fulfilment of website orders
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, and dispatch
• Monitor order processing timelines
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics partners for smooth last-mile dispatch
• Address order-related discrepancies in coordination with internal teams

Packaging & Compliance Coordination

• Ensure correct packaging implementation as per brand guidelines
• Oversee print quality, inserts, and finishing
• Coordinate barcode and labelling requirements
• Maintain compliance documentation

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain production trackers and vendor follow-up sheets
• Prepare weekly status reports
• Maintain systematic PO, dispatch, and stock records
• Support internal review meetings with updated operational data

Required Experience & Skills

• 12 years of merchandising or operations experience
• Experience coordinating with manufacturers and warehouses
• Strong Excel proficiency (mandatory)
• Experience handling inventory trackers
• Understanding of order fulfilment processes
• Strong vendor communication and follow-up ability
• High attention to detail and structured working style

Experience in home dcor, lifestyle, gifting, ceramics, or related categories is preferred.
