Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing invoices, processing payments, and supporting financial audits. The role also involves reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and financial analysis efforts to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting tools, financial reporting, and accounts reconciliation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Knowledge of financial practices, concepts, and compliance regulations
• Proficiency in data entry, record maintenance, and use of accounting software
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for team support
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification)
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
