Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for a Junior Accountant at MPA Financial Services Private Limited. The Junior Accountant will assist with maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and managing invoices and payments. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, assisting with tax filings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company regulations. The role involves collaborating with the finance team to support audits and maintaining accuracy in bookkeeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with accounting software (Tally / ERP preferred)
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under supervision
