Role Positioning
This is not a data-entry role.
We are hiring a performance-oriented accounting professional with 35 years of solid corporate experience who can independently manage accounting cycles, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and audit coordination with minimal supervision.
You will be expected to think, analyse, flag risks, and take ownership not wait for instructions.
Core Accountability Areas
1. End-to-End Accounting Ownership
Maintain and close monthly books with strict timelines
Ensure zero-mismatch ledgers and clean reconciliations
Independently handle AP/AR cycles
Maintain bank, vendor, debtor, and statutory reconciliations without delay
Monitor working capital movements
2. Statutory & Compliance Control
Independently manage GST reconciliations and filings
Ensure 100% TDS compliance and timely submissions
Prepare compliance documentation for internal & statutory audits
Proactively identify compliance gaps and rectify before escalation
Coordinate effectively with external CA / tax consultants
3. Financial Reporting & Management Support
Prepare monthly MIS with variance explanations
Assist in P&L, Balance Sheet preparation
Provide structured data to support management decisions
Track cost heads and flag deviations
Maintain clean financial documentation for investors / regulatory bodies
4. Audit & Internal Controls
Lead preparation for statutory and internal audits
Maintain audit-ready documentation at all times
Strengthen internal financial controls
Identify leakages, inefficiencies, or risk areas
5. Operational & Asset Accounting
Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliations
Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
Track capital expenditure and project accounting

Eligibility Criteria
B.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)
CA Inter / CMA Inter (Preferred)
35 years of proven corporate accounting experience (Mandatory)
Experience in manufacturing / industrial / compliance-driven setups preferred
Strong exposure to GST and TDS handling required
Technical Competence
Advanced working knowledge of Tally / ERP systems
Strong MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data reconciliation skills mandatory)
Clear understanding of statutory compliance frameworks
Familiarity with audit processes
