Mitti is a 100% vegetarian, organic, farm-to-table restaurant brand rooted in clean ingredients and mindful cooking. Our bakery and dessert section focuses on natural, eggless, vegan, and gluten-free preparations , made in-house with integrity.
We are looking for a Junior Pastry Chef / Pastry CDP who is passionate about baking, understands clean-label desserts, and is comfortable working with vegan and gluten-free menus . This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys learning, consistency, and working with better ingredients.
- Assist in daily baking and dessert preparation
- Handle icing, frosting, finishing, and basic decoration
- Work with eggless, vegan, and gluten-free recipes
- Prepare cakes, cookies, brownies, breads, and plated desserts
- Follow standard recipes, hygiene, and kitchen discipline
- Support new product trials and seasonal menu additions
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and ingredient handling standards
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of baking and pastry
- Hands-on experience with icing and finishing
- Familiarity with vegan and gluten-free ingredients (almond flour, millet flours, plant-based substitutes, etc.)
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency
- Willingness to learn and adapt to clean, organic cooking methods
- Good kitchen discipline and teamwork
- 13 years of experience in bakery / pastry (preferred)
- Freshers with strong bakery skills and training may also apply
- Experience in cafs, bakeries, or dessert sections is a plus
- Culinary school background is an advantage but not mandatory
