As a JIRA developer, you develop and maintain automation workflows in Atlassian JIRA and other Atlassian products as needed. You build and deploy servers and applications, develop plugins, web and desktop applications to extend JIRA capabilities, make dashboards for JIRA Connect add-ons, configure custom fields, support JIRA configurations that include all client requirements, create custom preset filters, test outcomes, and identify defects. Other duties include upgrading and enhancing JIRA projects, defining and executing SDLC tasks, and documenting and maintaining the SDLC. You will be responsible for designing and implementing custom solutions within Jira. Your expertise will help streamline workflows, ensure seamless integrations, and improve the overall functionality and effectiveness of the Jira platform to meet business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with Software Engineering.
• 6+ years as a Jira Developer.
• Experience with programing languages like Python Java, C#, JavaScript for developing custom plugins and applications.
• Understanding of REST APIs and their use in JIRA integrations.
• Experience with integrating JIRA with other systems and tools.
• knowledge of JIRA administration, configuration, and development, including workflows, permissions, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Responsiveness and responsibility in managing critical infrastructure and addressing issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide user support.
• Experience in working with cross-geo development teams and users.
