Jira Align Support Consultant

Role Purpose :

This position supports the operations of Jira Align to ensure the success of CME’s shift to a product model. This role will ensure agile teams can successfully manage their work in Jira Align by configuring the tool, answering questions, and troubleshooting issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create new users and permission to appropriate teams.

• Monitor Jira Align support chat and respond to questions in a timely manner.

• Create new teams in the system and ensure they’re configured to sync with Jira.

• Develop user guides and how-to documents.

• Promote the adoption of Jira Align with stakeholders and identify ways to improve uptake. 

• Partner with the reporting team to develop reports/dashboards that supplement Jira Align and provide insights to a broad audience.

• Assist the tools team in the development of a Jira Align adoption roadmap, choosing the next functionality to effectively roll out to users

• Champion SAFe Agile standards and adherence to role and process guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

2-4 years related Jira Align administration experience. Experience using Jira align to manage sprints. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.  Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.  Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology and best practices.  Comfort working with cross-cultural international teams. Communications skill will be big plus.
