About the Role

At Project Zero Production, we believe that the smallest details make the biggest impact. We are looking for a dedicated Jewellery Photographer with 12 years of experience to join our creative team.

Jewellery photography is a game of millimeters and light control. Youll be responsible for capturing the brilliance of gemstones, the texture of precious metals, and the "soul" of each piece. This role is perfect for a technical perfectionist who loves the challenge of macro photography and high-end retouching.

Key Responsibilities

• Studio Photography: Execute high-quality macro shoots for rings, necklaces, watches, and loose stones.
• Lighting Mastery: Manipulate light to eliminate unwanted reflections and enhance the sparkle/facets of various materials (gold, silver, diamonds, etc.).
• Composition: Style and prop products for both clean e-commerce "white background" shots and creative lifestyle editorials.
• Post-Production: Perform detailed retouching, including focus stacking, color correction, and removing microscopic imperfections.
• Asset Management: Maintain an organized digital filing system and ensure all metadata is correctly tagged for client delivery.
• Equipment Care: Manage and maintain studio gear, including cameras, specialized macro lenses, and lighting modifiers.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: 12 years of professional photography experience (specifically in product or jewellery photography).
• Technical Proficiency: * Expertise in Focus Stacking (using software like Helicon Focus or Photoshop).
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Lightroom).
• Strong understanding of studio lighting (strobes, continuous light, and light tents).
• The "Eye": A keen eye for detail and a steady hand for styling delicate items.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing macro work and an understanding of reflective surfaces.
• Efficiency: Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment without sacrificing quality.
