Job Title: Jewellery CAD Designer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Jewellery design and advanced proficiency in CAD software to develop accurate, production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D and 3D CAD models of fine jewellery using software such as Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, or similar.

• Translate hand sketches, ideas, or client briefs into precise digital designs.

• Work closely with the product development team to ensure feasibility of designs for manufacturing.

• Make revisions to designs based on feedback from clients, team members, or production units.

• Maintain a library of CAD designs and design templates.

• Ensure all designs meet quality standards and manufacturing requirements.

• Stay updated with market trends and innovations in jewellery design and CAD technologies.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, or equivalent.

• Degree/diploma in Jewellery Design or a related field is preferred.

• Strong understanding of jewellery materials, dimensions, setting techniques, and finishing.

• Creativity and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Prior experience in the jewellery industry is a plus.
