Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java (above 1.8) , Microservices Architecture , Spring Boot , Kafka , and Multithreading , and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java (1.8 and above) .
• Build and maintain Microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot .
• Develop and integrate Kafka-based event-driven and messaging solutions .
• Implement multithreading and concurrency for high-performance systems.
• Design RESTful APIs and ensure secure, efficient communication between services.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production support activities.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile/Scrum processes, and coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5.5 to 7 years of experience in Java backend development .
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 1.8+ (Streams, Lambda expressions, Collections).
• Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture .
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot (Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions).
• Strong knowledge of Multithreading, Concurrency, and JVM internals .
• Experience building REST APIs and working with JSON/XML.
• Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases .
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines , version control systems (Git), and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of design patterns and system design.
• Experience in high-volume, low-latency systems.
