About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java + GCP Developer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform . This role involves building scalable backend systems using Java and leveraging GCP services for enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications optimized for cloud environments.
• Design and implement microservices architecture using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Integrate applications with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments on GCP.
• Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions .
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance in a cloud-native environment .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Mandatory:6 8 years of experience in Java development (Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API development .
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Terraform / Deployment Manager for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Good understanding of cloud security best practices and IAM .

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Big Data services on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow).
• Experience with message queues (Pub/Sub, Kafka).
• GCP Certification (Professional Cloud Developer or Architect) is a plus.
