Role Overview

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API-driven microservices using Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality backend solutions for a global leading customer in Banking.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures
• Work with databases to ensure data integrity and performance
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other engineering teams
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

Required Skills & Experience

• 58 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Solid understanding of database design and SQL (any major RDBMS / NoSQL)
• Understanding of application security, performance, and scalability
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
