Java Software Engineer

Job description:

The API Development is responsible for designing, developing, and governing the API architecture framework that enables secure, scalable, and high-performing integrations across enterprise systems. The role involves setting API design standards, ensuring best practices in implementation, and driving adoption of API-first and microservices-based architecture.

Total years of experience: 6 14 years

Relevant years of experience: 6 years

Technical Skills Required:

Strong experience in API design, development, and integration (REST, J2EE, Spring Boot, JSON, REST, Swagger, OpenAPI, SOAP, SMPP, MQ, XML\JSON, JWT and WSDL, Eclipse).

With following best practices and standards (i.e. OpenAPI, TMforum)

Experience in Java & J2EE development is a must

Build Tools (Maven, Gradle)

Experience in API management platforms (i.e. Apigee) Additional advantage.

Hands on experience with building secure APIs, by following security industry standards and protocols (i.e. OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and TLS.)

Experience on Oracle Databases, UNIX and shell scripting.

Experience on microservices solution development is an additional advantage.

Familiarity with message brokers and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Knowledge in Telecom domain (i.e EAI, OSS/BSS, SIEBEL, etc) - Optional

Educational Qualifications

Engineering in Telecom, Electronics, Computer Science or equivalent
